Watching my daughter graduate from the Surgical Technologist program fills my heart with so much pride and gratitude.
I know the long hours, the studying, the stress, the exhaustion, and the determination it took to reach this moment. Programs like this are not easy. They require discipline, focus, and the ability to keep going even when the days feel overwhelming. And she did exactly that.
But beyond the accomplishment itself, I am most proud of the person she has become through the process—steady, compassionate, hardworking, and willing to step into a career dedicated to helping others during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
There is something deeply meaningful about work that serves people with both skill and care. Surgical technologists may work behind the scenes, but they are such an important part of every procedure, every operating room, and every patient’s story. Knowing my daughter will be part of that kind of work makes this milestone feel even more special.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” — Proverbs 31:25
This graduation represents more than a diploma. It represents perseverance. Growth. Sacrifice. And the beginning of a new chapter she has worked incredibly hard to earn.
I could not be prouder of her.
And somewhere between all the textbooks, clinicals, early mornings, and stressful exams, she became even stronger than she already was.
